I met up with three adorable kids for a sibling photoshoot in downtown Northville the other day. I like taking photos of children in ‘urban’ settings…. finding funky doorways, brick walls, steps, alleys and more! Such fun. Have a quick look at some of the results from our mini-session:

When i found out Kelsey was pregnant, I couldn’t wait to take some images of her! The two of us met a couple of years ago and she has modeled for me countless times in workshops or other projects. She is a wonderful person- full of spunk, creativity, motivation,humor, compassion and kindness. Oh yea… and did I mention she is GORGEOUSSSS?! Well, she is. It is always great to see and work with her and last weekend was no exception. For the photoshoot we decided to met up at a local park and do a quick, nature based mini-session. I used both the woods and a nearby field as the setting. Kelsey is a fan of artistic images and so I played a bit with colors and light.

So cute, right?! Yay for a baby boy in just a few weeks…. such a blessing! I can’t wait to meet him.
She is 9 months pregnant and positively glowing in the beautiful sunlight….. I love these ones… and her!

Fall Family Portraits (Northville, MI Photographer)

So last week I had a chance to take some portraits of some of my favorite people! The Fall colors were in full force – I LOVE LOVE LOVE this time of year. Have a look at a handful of the shots we got at Mill Race Village in downtown Northville.

And this one, although very traditional, is one of my favorites ever of Mel and Johnny together- they usually won’t even stand next to one another, LOL!!!!

I really enjoy taking portraits during the Autumn season. The color is just so beautiful and the temperatures aren’t super high…. it makes for a nice and relaxed photo session. I met up with this awesome family of 5 recently for an evening shoot, just before sunset, at one of my favorite park areas. This is just a very small sneak peek into their session. Tons of photos were taken that day!! What else would you expect? LOL. I did both casually posed and candid shots- and they were filled with color- have a look:
