I just love teeny tiny extra precious little baby girls and boys. Lucky me- my job involves spending time with them. Awwwww. Here is a little sneak peek at my most recent newborn session:

We did some outdoor nature shots in a basket and with an old wooden chair….

And even one with her daddy’s stethoscope….

My oh my! I meet some cute kids doing this job of mine. I was fortunate to meet up with two sweet sisters at a local park area recently. Have a look at what we were up to!

I think these are some of my most favorite baby photos ever, meet Lily…

And her big sister, Alex, did a fabulous job as well. What a cutie! She loved playing with the props….

And a little sisterly love….

It was so fun spending time with you girls! I hope to do it again one day

Maternity Photography (Novi, MI, Photographer)

When i found out Kelsey was pregnant, I couldn’t wait to take some images of her! The two of us met a couple of years ago and she has modeled for me countless times in workshops or other projects. She is a wonderful person- full of spunk, creativity, motivation,humor, compassion and kindness. Oh yea… and did I mention she is GORGEOUSSSS?! Well, she is. It is always great to see and work with her and last weekend was no exception. For the photoshoot we decided to met up at a local park and do a quick, nature based mini-session. I used both the woods and a nearby field as the setting. Kelsey is a fan of artistic images and so I played a bit with colors and light.

Thanks to MAK styles for doing a great job with the Bohemian inspired hair and makeup :)

So cute, right?! Yay for a baby boy in just a few weeks…. such a blessing! I can’t wait to meet him.

She is 9 months pregnant and positively glowing in the beautiful sunlight….. I love these ones… and her!

It’s a Girl (Livonia, MI Newborn Photographer)

I just LOVE getting hired to work with teeny tiny, super squishy, adorable little ones! Last week I was fortunate to do just that. Nearly two years ago I took photos at her Mommy and Daddy’s wedding. Time flies, right? It is honestly one of the best experiences ever to watch families grow. This beautiful couple is now blessed with an amazing baby girl. Have a look:

Although I have a suitcase filled with hats, headbands, blankets, lots of props, etc… that I take with me on all of my newborn sessions, it always thrills me when parents shop on Etsy just for our photo shoot! Such wonderful handmade items can be found there. Oh, and I love that the site supports artists. Mom and Dad found this cute diaper cover and headband there! :)

There are way too many to share from this session- but I love sleeping baby basket shots, so here ya go! By the way, these images were all taken with natural window light.

Details are soooo cute!

And I really love newborn photos where the baby is in the hands of her parents….
