Emma is one of my Senior Reps this year. Lucky me. She is a beautiful person- inside and out- who totally rocked our session together on Friday. I will just be totally honest and say that we had already met up a couple of times and had needed to reschedule our session due to rainy, windy, plain old yucky weather. But Friday was perfect. It was her day. All hers.
I just love my job. What a blessing it is to spend time with such wonderful people. To start off with her Mom suggested this GREAT location, brought pineapple for us to munch on and even brought back her Grandpa to say hello before we finished up. Does it get much better? Love it. Such a great sense of family, nourishment and the making of memories. And Emma had loads of outfit ideas and lots of personality to share throughout the day. Have a look at just some of her day:
I couldn’t resist the light here….isn’t she beautiful?

I have a huge weakness for cool doors, especially red ones!
She has blue eyes that can be seen from a mile away, SERIOUSLY.

Emma is also a Varsity Pom captain.

Thanks a ton for stopping by everyone! Hope you enjoyed it. Stay tuned for some new posts! I have an upcoming child session and workshop info to post soon.
On Saturday my father, David Alder, held a fabulous golf outing at Moose Ridge Golf in SE Michigan. All proceeds from the outing will be donated to the Michigan Vietnam Veterans Monument Fund. This is a monument which honors the fallen Veterans of Michigan. Every year we have a great turn out and a fantastic time! My job is to help coordinate, set up and photograph (of course) the teams throughout the day.
This year we were especiallly thankful for the largest number of participants we have ever had, no rain, terrific support from the staff at Moose Ridge, lots of amazing sponsors + donations and an incredible dinner put on by Chef Paul and Jessica. Yummy- best food I eat all year!!!

I just wanted to thank all of you who came out and can’t wait to see you all again next time. :)
I would like to introduce two of my AMAZING Senior Reps this year! Christina and Claire are twin sisters at North Farmington who are an absolute delight to spend time with. They are top notch students, well rounded, positive ladies. Lucky me, huh? Oh, and did I mention how beautiful they are?
Christina loves nature….

Love this, what a beauty she is!

this one was done for her as a special request…. inspired by an image of mine she had seen on my web site, but unqiuely her own.

And she has a wee bit of love for the urban stuff, too…. but just a little.

I think her sister likes it a little more…

Claire, enjoys the artsy, urban sorta edgy appeal that concrete alley walls, the character of old weathered wood doors and even the mood that rusted backdrops have to offer. What a FUN pair of girls to work with.

She was loving this old rusty spot with a leather chair I brought along…. this spot was planned out just for her

Soooo pretty….

The colorful porches and doors at a local Historic Village also caught her eye.

Oh, and did I mention they are captains of the Varsity Pom Team? Yep, not even kidding….

Please contact Christina or Claire for more information on getting fun, custom, unique Senior Portraits if you are in the Farmington (or surrounding) area! And, although she is not posted here, you may also contact Emma S., who is also a rep of mine and will be featured next.
Thanks for stopping by!
